Chunky Knit Sweaters!

As the temperatures begin to drop and our tans start to fade, there’s nothing like the comfort of a chunky knit sweater to console us! Over-sized chunky sweaters offer optimal warmth combined with optimal style!

September 21st, the autumnal equinox has finally arrived and with her arrival she has brought overcast skies, rainy days and fabulous chunky sweaters!  When I first saw some of the Fall 2011 looks I immediately coveted the fur vests and poncho trenches, but when beginning to build my fall wardrobe, I want to start with more versatile pieces like some chunky knits.

These pieces can be worn in a number of ways, throw a sweater on with some jeans and booties during the day and then pair with some textured tights and a skirt at night!  For a fun and flirty daytime look, pair a chunky knit sweater with a floral dress and some oxford heels!
